We announce the death of Gerald Keith Thompson (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 8, 2026, at the age of 79. Gerald will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. He was predeceased by: his parents, Malcolm Thompson and Ruby Thompson; his son Mark; and his brother Wayne. He is survived by: his wife Rose Marie; his children, Wayne, Bruce (Diane) and Tracy (Maurice); his grandchildren, Brad (Haley), Max and Elayna; his great grandchildren, Chandler and Malcolm; his brother Richard (Linda); and his sister-in-law Helen Thompson.
