She was predeceased by: her parents, René Fitzgerald and Lucie Fitzgerald; and her siblings, Delbert, Edgar, Willard Fitzgerald, Hazel O'Connell, Katie Fitzgerald, Florence Dugas and Margaret Clairmont.

She is survived by: her husband J. Michael Surette; her daughter Katherine Sweeney; her granddaughters, Wendy Doucette of Alberta and Lynne Proudler of Alberta; and her great grandchildren, Katie Doucette and Chelsea Kenney.

Please note that due to Covid restrictions, it is suggested that you phone Huskilson's (902-742-3626) to pre-register for both the visitation and funeral Mass, as both are restricted to 50 people each.
