He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Victor and Margaret Naomi Hatfield (Robichaud); his sister Alice; and his daughters, Anne Hatfield and Wanda Hatfield.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie Prime (Murray), Lottie Reid (Peter), Bonnie Hatfield, Gordon Hatfield (Beverly), Peter Hatfield (Tamera Smith) and Brenda Amirault (Wayne Nickerson); his grandchildren, Robbie Hatfield (Jaime), Christopher Reid, Caleb Reid (Alisha Julien-Reid), Laura Fevens (Arthur Hall), Hannah Hopkins-Tan (James), Wanda Hatfield, Chera Yorke (Matthew), Shana Anderson (Matt), Peter Hatfield, Jessica Amirault, Melina Amirault (Brandon Moulaison) and Thomas Amirault; his stepsister Ellen Parker (Alex); and his great grandchild Pearl Julien-Reid. He is also survived by great-grandchildren.
