He is survived by: his close friend James "Jim" Pearce; his daughters, Anne Clements (Robert) and Lisa Pearce; his grandson Spencer Clements; his brother Charles "Buckie" MacConnell (Marina); his half-siblings, Brock MacConnell and Beth Matthews; and his nieces and nephews, Beverly Facey (Noel), Jane MacConnell (Mun Lie), Christopher MacConnell (Robin Dowden), Allan Roberts (Bertha) and Bruce Roberts (Lynda).

A graveside service was held on Tuesday, September 15th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the Darling's Lake Cemetery.
