It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Helen Goodwin of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Port Maitland, Nova Scotia, who passed away on November 20, 2021, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ivan Thomas and Bertha Thomas (Sollows); her husband William Goodwin; her brother Garth Thomas; and her sister-in-law Beverly Reynolds Thomas.

She is survived by: her children, Sherri Thomas (Peter) of Coldbrook, NS, Barbara Irving (Jeff) of Moncton, NB and Dan Goodwin (Lisa) of Woodstock, NS; her grandchildren, Nicole Cameron (Chris) of Moncton, NB, Krystal Cross (Steven) of Quispamsis, NB, Jonathan Jacquard (Nicole Foster) of South Williamston, NS, Ashley Kinsman (John) of Lakelands, NS, Josh Goodwin (Kate Dewey) of Halifax, NS and Julia Goodwin (Jordan Melanson) of Woodstock, NS; and her great grandchildren, Amelia, Adelynn Cameron, Desiree, April, Kalob Cross and Isabelle Kinsman.

In accordance with Nova Scotia Proof of Full Vaccination Policy, proof of full vaccination will be required to attend all visitations and services, as COVID-19 protocols will be in place for both the visitation and memorial service.

Donations in Helen's memory can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or Yarmouth North Baptist Church.
