He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Whittaker and Leah Whittaker (Dyson); his wife Phyllis; his daughter Cindy Whittaker; and his siblings, Albert Whittaker and Ella Foley (Whittaker).
He is survived by: his children, Susan (Kent), Robert Whittaker (Mary-Rose) and Larry Whittaker (Linda); and his caregiver Ruth Thompson. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
In lieu of flowers donations in memory may be made to the Prince Charles 4H Club in Yarmouth or the Friends of Gilles Boudreau Cancer Help Fund.
