He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry R. Brown and Eleanor Brown (Moore); his siblings, Peter Graham Brown, Patricia "Pat" Gilbert and Elizabeth "Betty" Brown; his former wife Ruth Brown; his wife Leona Brown; and his son Gregory Brown (Ruth).

He is survived by: his son Chris (Gail); his grandchildren, Brian (Debbie), Kathy (Todd), Rob (Lona), Steve (Dianne), Rachel, Meghan, Brianna, Jacob, Andra (Patrick), Joseph, Kaitlyn, Nathan, Grace, Abbey, Harrison and Adrian; and his great grandchild Chelsea (Luke).
