It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Irma Jean Banks (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), born in South Ohio, Nova Scotia, who passed away on April 7, 2022, at the age of 86, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, James Gould and Emma Gould (Moses); her husband Charles Banks; and her siblings, James Jr. and Joyce.

She is survived by: her siblings, Gloria Gould, Linda Crosby (Kenney), Nancy Finch (Graham), Paul Gould (Liz), Allan Gould (Holly) and Bruce Gould; her daughters, Dianne Banks, Donna Banks, Cindy Banks-Seeley (Lynn) and Gloria Banks; her grandchildren, Michael Hanf (Tara), Tiffany Crealock (Nathan), Tabitha Nicholl (Tim), Melissa Hanf (Terry), Kristen Hayes (Alex), Hannah Banks-Ritchie (Jabrille), Nathan Tovell, Kelsey Tovell and Charlie Banks; and her great grandchildren, Baden Hanf, Leah Crealock, Adrien Hanf, Kyla Crealock, Ainsley Jacquard, Luke Hayes, Braelee Ritchie and Ayla Hanf.

The family would ask that all in attendance wear a mask.

In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Hebron Baptist Church, Hillside Cemetery or South Ohio Community Centre.
