He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Dr. Vernon Rideout and Ruth Rideout (Morton); his wife Heather Paterson Rideout; his daughters, Samantha (Nic Turgeon), Rebecca (Ben Pothier) and Katrina (Andrew Pettis); his granddaughters, Laurie-Anne Turgeon-Rideout, Luna, Zara Pothier and Fyra Huntley; his siblings, Cathy Thurston (Harry), Bruce (Rosemary) and Doug Rideout (Pam Travers); and also Kameron Huntley. He was also cherished by several nieces & nephews.
