He was predeceased by: his parents, Freddie Surette and Annie Surette (Newell); and his wife Helen Surette (Gordon). He is survived by: his children, Rosanne Ogden (James) of Yarmouth Co, Stan Surette of Yarmouth Co, Michael Surette of Yarmouth Co, James Surette (Marie) and Belleville; and his brother Harold Surette (Little Egypt).
