He was predeceased by: his wife Elsie Murphy; his parents, Frank Murphy and Alvita Murphy (Madden); his children, Gary and Laurabell; and his grandson Jeremy.
He is survived by: his children, Patricia (Kenney), Beverly (Peter), Sharon (David), Sandra (Stephen), Willis (Dawn), Bruce (Margo) and John (Nicolette). He is also survived by many grandchildren and great grandchildren.
