Josephine Finlay Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Josephine Finlay (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), born in Hebron, Nova Scotia, who passed away on February 13, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Glindon Moses and Stella Moses (Luker); her husband Robert John Finlay; and her siblings, Lloyd Moses (Dorothy), Vernon Moses (Agnes), Muriel Bain (Forrest), Ruth Smith (Ronald) and Rosaline Whitehouse (Stephen).
She is survived by: her daughters, Gayle Williams (Gary) of South Ohio and Meredith Hazelton (Glen) of Deerfield; her grandchildren, Robert Williams (Erin), Dylan Goodwin and Ashley Goodwin (Cody); and her great grandchildren, Morgan Williams, Ty Williams and Sebastian Bethune. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from 1 — 2 pm, Wednesday, February 17th, Funeral Service to follow at 2:00 pm., both in the Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel, COVID 19 protocols will be in place. (service will be live streamed on the Sweeny's Funeral Home website.).
Donations may be made to the Pleasant Valley Baptist Church or a charity of your choice.
