With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Kathryn Hilda Amiro of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, born in Ottawa, Ontario, who passed away on January 1, 2024 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by : her parents, John McEwan and Katherine McEwan (Kiefl); her husband John "Eddie" Amiro; her son John Franklyn Amiro; her granddaughter Nicole Dorey; and her siblings, Margaret Whimpers, Doris McMullen, Enos McEwan, Harold McEwan and Kiefl McEwan.
She is survived by : her daughter-in-law Linda Amiro; her granddaughter Cynthia Amiro; her great grandchildren, Robert and Chelsea Dorey; and her great great grandchildren, Keeghan, Ashton, Lincoln, George, Allison, Zayn and Zoey.
Memorial donations in Kay's memory may be made to the Gilles Boudreau and Friends Cancer Help Fund or a charity of one's choice.
