He was predeceased by: his parents, Abijah Gavel and Myrtis Gavel (Smith). He is survived by: his children, Sarah Williams (Greg) and David Gavel (Sheala); his stepdaughter Tenasitee Honey (Kyle); his siblings, Carolyn Gavel (Edith), Clyde Gavel, Leigh Gavel (Barb) and Loran Gavel; his grandchildren, Jaxon, Adlee, Easton and Margot; and his former wife Karen Stewart (Barry). He is also survived by many nieces & nephews.
