He is survived by: his wife Lynn Blades (Pyne); his daughters, Christine Blades (Shawn Hines) of Yarmouth and Angie Malone (Shannon) of Yarmouth; his siblings, Sharon Leblanc (Jimmy) of Yarmouth, John Blades (Denise) of Sand Beach and Kim Blades (Craig Richardson) of Yarmouth; and his sister-in-law Linda Blades of Yarmouth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Thursday, May 15th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Huskilson's Funeral Home (29 Albert St, Yarmouth, NS B5A 3N1). A funeral service was held on Friday, May 16th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Temple Baptist Church Located At (7 Bond St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1P6).
