She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth Durkee; and her parents, Gordon Nickerson and Margaret Nickerson (Doane). She is survived by: her children, Patty Saulnier (Pete), Diane Clark (Brent), Mike Durkee (Jane), Dave Durkee (Judy), Tom Durkee (Patti), Rick Durkee and Polly Ring; her siblings, Frank, Sumner, Louise, Polly, Bessie and Helen; and her sons-in-law, Dwight Ollenberger and Earl Ring. She is also survived by beautiful grandchildren, great and great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Hebron Baptist Church (21 Hillside Dr, Hebron, NS B5A5Z6). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, July 24th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
