She was predeceased by: her parents, William Forbes and Doris Forbes (Pitman); her husband Don Burns; and her siblings, Allison Pitman, William Forbes and Carol Holland.
She is survived by: her daughters, Rebecca Forbes (Stephen Johnson), Dianne Burns (Michael Wile) and Elizabeth Richard (Larry); her grandchildren, William (Jen), Alexander (Amelia), Sylvie (Phoenix) and Jocelyn; her great grandchild Willow; and her sisters-in-law, Laura Gilbert, Helen Burns and Eloise Forbes. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
