It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mary Hannigan of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on January 29, 2021, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Mary Hannigan to show support.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Edmund Doucette and Loretta Doucette (Blauvelt); her husband Leo Hannigan of New Waterford, NS; and her siblings, Nelson, Clayton, Bernard, Melbourne, Lorne, Irma and Victorine.

She is survived by: her children, Gerry (Deyna), Jim (Cindy), Kip (Darlene), Ann (Victor), Sharon (Josh), Lois (Harry) and Lorna (Brian); her nieces, Patti Doucette and Diana Doucette; and her sisters-in-law, Alice Durdle, Edna Hannigan and Norma Hannigan. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, 4 great- great grandchildren.

Due to COVID-19 restrictions, there will be limited seating, and public health protocols will be in place.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation, or a charity of one's choice.
