It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mitchell Ernest Nickerson (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on September 2, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Bradford Nickerson and Etta Nickerson; and his siblings, Charles, Brian and Susan.
He is survived by: his wife Wanda Nickerson (Ross); his children, Jeannie Nickerson (Havelock) and Jammie Nickerson (Nancy); his grandchildren, Morgan, Rebecca (Mariner), Mahala (Jason), Keisha and Brett (Angela); his great grandchildren, Jamie and Jessie; and his siblings, Anne, Maisie, Wesley and Ricky. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorial donations in honour of Mitchell can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation.
