She is survived by: her parents, John Amiro and Linda Amiro (Muise); her husband Bryon Dorey; her children, Chelsea Dorey and Robert Dorey; her grandchildren, Keeghan O'Brien of Peterborough, ON, Ashton Dorey of Dartmouth and Lincoln Dorey of Dartmouth; her sister Cynthia Amiro; and her grandmother Kathryn "Kay" Amiro.

Memorial donations may be made to the Breast Cancer Society of Canada.
