He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Newell and Agnes Newell; and his sister Ann Williams. He is survived by: his wife Gail Newell (Spurr); his daughters, Patricia Newell (Trevor Crosby) of Wellington and Carol Frotten (Avery Frotten) of Yarmouth; his grandchildren, Jasmine Muise (Laya Nickerson), Jennifer Crosby, Jayden Crosby, Jacob Frotten and Abbygail Frotten; and his siblings, Yvonne Leblanc of Wedgeport, Bob Newell (Gretha) of Plymouth, Evelyn Myers of Plymouth, Paul Newell of Wedgeport and Jerry Newell (Peggy) of Plymouth. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and cherished friends and in laws.
