He was predeceased by: his parents, John Jr. Bethune and Lillian Bethune (Prosser). He is survived by: his wife Mary (Southern); his sister Sandra Bethune Hamilton; his children, Todd (LouAnn) of Halifax and Holly (Ted) of Yarmouth; his stepson Greg Williams (Sarah) of Sheffield Mills; and his grandchildren, Hannah, Marlee, Jack and Molly. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Tri County VON or Port Maitland Cemetery.
