He is survived by: his son Bryce (Amanda) of Schomberg, Ontario; his wife Elizabeth Black of Halifax; his sister Barbara Gauthier; his niece Deana Buller (Rob); his nephew Mike Gauthier (Kae); his stepbrothers, Patrick and Michael Laverty; Valerie Grundke (Ernst).
