He was predeceased by: his parents, George Durkee and Lila Durkee (Cleveland); his sister Marjorie; and his daughter Wendy. He is survived by: his wife Alice (Poole); his children, Vernon, Cheryl and Ralph Jr. Durkee; his stepchildren, Donald MacLeod (Benita), Linda Crowell (Terry), Heather and Paul Durkee (Tracy); his siblings, Barbara Mills, Mildred Symon, Dorothy Giroux and Robert Durkee (June); his grandchildren, Tyler Crowell (Kate), Ryan MacLeod, Leah Durkee, Cy Durkee, Meagan (Kevin), Christian (Charlie), Jade Elizabeth, Brian (Lisa) and Jamie (Brian); and his great grandchildren, Everett MacLeod and Marissa.
