He was predeceased by: his parents, Elsie Zinck and Victor Zinck. He is survived by: his wife Louise (Crosby); his grandson Matthew Harding; and his siblings, Joan McLaughlin (Thomas), Dale Dartmouth (Mary Jane) and Roy (Debbie).

“Dear Family Members: I met Ray on several occasions and altho' I did not know him well, was impressed by his quiet nature and his obvious intelligence. Talking with him was always enlightening and entertaining: he was well-travelled and a good story-teller. Since leaving Yar. some 7+ years ago, I lost contact with him totally, and so his passing was a real shock to me. My deepest condolences to all of you who loved him.”
