He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert "Bud" Lennox and Beatrice Lennox (Oickle); and his siblings, Heather and Dean Lennox. He is survived by: his wife Audrey Lennox (Doucette); his children, Emmett Lennox of Moncton, NB, Sjanna (Alan) and James of Gavelton, NS; his grandchildren, Meredith James, Sarah Deveau (Noah), Anita James, Caleb James and Nash Lennox; his great grandchild Wyatt Deveau; and his siblings-in-law, George Doucette (Trina), Edward Doucette (Donna), Elizabeth d'Entremont (Raymond), Andrew Doucette (Susan) and Jeanette d'Entremont (Ron). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, October 28th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home and Crematorium (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A1J6). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the same location. A reception was held on Wednesday, October 29th 2025 at 4:00 PM at the New Heights Baptist Church (10184 Hwy3, Arcadia, NS B0W1B0).
Donations in Rory's memory may be made to New Heights Baptist Church or the Yarmouth Hospital Foundation.
