Ruth Mary Blades Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Ruth Mary Blades of Yarmouth, Nova Scotia, who passed away on December 2, 2022, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Muise and Marion Muise (Ward); her husband Chesley Blades; her close friend Burton Samms; her sons, Richard Muise, Paul Blades and Brian "Bobo" Blades; her grandson Neil Blades Jr.; and her siblings, George "Sparky" Muise and Phyllis Langthorne.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Blades (Jane) of Yarmouth and Neil Blades (Geraldine) of Yarmouth; her sister Joyce Murree (Boston); and her grandchildren, Justin Blades, Phillip Blades, Lisa MacCormack and Monica Hersey. She is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren.
Memorial donations in Ruth's memory may be made to the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 61, Yarmouth.
