It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Verna Hawe (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on October 16, 2021, at the age of 63, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, Vernon Hawe (Frank) and Jean Carolyn Hawe (Garron). She is survived by : her children, Shane and Cheyanne Smith; her stepchildren, Tammy Newell (Smith) and David Smith; her friends, April Scott, Gizele Neduzak, Beth Ann Daigle and Jim Amos; her aunt Dolores; and her nephews, Dana and Darren.

Due to Covid 19 restrictions proof of vaccination will be required to attend the celebration of life service.

In lieu of flowers, please consider making a donation to Minnie's Furry Friends as Verna was a lover of the beautiful cats she adopted from Minnie who Verna recognized as providing a great service to our community. Donations to Rosalind Care Fund would also be graciously accepted.
