She was predeceased by: her parents, Ethel May Purdy and Bernard Locke Purdy; her brothers, Mildon Purdy, Stanley Purdy and Lesley Purdy; and her daughter-in-law Rose Purdy.
She is survived by: her sister Honey; her close friend Billy Roach; her son Leigh Purdy; her granddaughter Stacey Purdy; and her sisters, Phyllis Single (Frank), Ethel Macomber (Honey) and Gail Doucette. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
