It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Walter Jacquard (Yarmouth, Nova Scotia), who passed away on March 25, 2024, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family in the guestbook on this memorial page of Walter Jacquard to show support.

He was predeceased by: his parents, George Jacquard of Comeau's Hill and Emily (Fitzgerald) of Comeau's Hill; his sisters, Donna Deveau and Barbara Jacquard; and his grandson Andrew Jacquard.

He is survived by: his wife Charlotte Jacquard (Moses); his children, Jennifer Jacquard (Adam White) of Cannan and Jeremie Jacquard (Stacy) of Petawawa; his brothers, Michael Jacquard (Sandra) of Comeau's Hill, Kevin Jacquard of Yarmouth and Henry Jacquard (Kim) of New Glasgow; his siblings-in-law, John Moses (Jane), Darren Deveau and Christine Amirault (Albert); and his grandchildren, Emery Melanson, Tobias Jacquard, Emilia Jacquard, Sophie Jacquard and Kourtni Beaulieu.

Donations in memory may be made to the VON, Comeau's Hill Cemetery or the Tusket Museum.

“With deepest sympathies. With the Festival acadien de Wedgeport I had Daniel speaking many times on Comeau’s Hill history. He was great. Very sorry that he died so young. He still had a lot to contribute. I had him to paint the Wedgeport cenotaph statue. He did a great job. He repaired the Comeau’s Hill cenotaph. Great job there also. He also helped to commemorate the Korean War veterans. He was a source of information for those veterans. I always enjoyed speaking to him.”
