She was predeceased by: her parents, J. Edward Carter and Mary Alexandra Carter (Chisholm); her husband B. Wayne Anderson; her siblings, Joseph, David, Archibald, Theodore Carter, Irene Brown and Claire Ann Muise; and her stepgrandson Rylan Anderson.
She is survived by: her daughter Lynne Ryerson (Trevor Perry); her stepchildren, Chad and Adele Anderson of Harve Boucher; her siblings, Robert Carter (Donna) of Yarmouth and Elizabeth "Betty" Stadel (Stanley) of Red Deer, AB.; her grandchildren, Oakley and Olivia Ryerson; her stepgrandchildren, Krista, Joshua (Corry), Alison, Cameron Perry, Scotia, Ainsley Johnson and Gracie Anderson; and her siblings-in-law, Anne Carter of Hadleyville and Ray Hogg of Yarmouth. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 at 2:00 PM at the Sweeny's Funeral Home Chapel (567 Main St, Yarmouth, NS B5A 1J6).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to friends of TNR or Juvenile Diabetes.
