Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Betty Vaughan (Yellowknife, Northwest Territories), who passed away at the age of 75, on September 27, 2025. Though Betty may journey beyond the horizon of our sight, her essence remains woven into the very fabric of our being — a guiding light in the darkness, a beacon of hope in the night.
She was predeceased by: her son Ian (Karla). She is survived by: her husband Alan Vaughan; her daughter Helen Vaughan Barrieau (Adrien); her grandchildren, Quinn, Olivier, Maya and Claire; and her sisters, Sharon (Jim) and Nancy (Elwin).
A memorial service will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Holy Trinity Anglican Church (4909 52 St, Yellowknife, NT X0E). A celebration of life will be held on Wednesday, October 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Chief Drygeese Conference Centre Administration Building.
