He was predeceased by: his parents, Agnes Buckley and Archie Buckley; and his brothers, Leonard, Elmer and Baby Roger Jackie.
He is survived by: his significant other Caron Lorenzen; his son Bill Oslund; and his siblings, Peggy (Ernest), Geraldine (Ellis), Darlene (Dave), Betty, Bob, Kevin (Erica), Barry (Shannon), Zack and Ashley.
Viewing will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the St. Patrick's Co-Cathedral (5206 52 St, Yellowknife, NT X1A1T9). A Mass will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 1:15 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Wednesday, October 15th 2025 at 1:15 PM at the Lakeview Cemetery.
