He is survived by : his wife Aven; his sons, Nathan and Kristofer; his mother Giselle Wiseman; his grandparents, Vernon and Nettie Wiseman; his sisters, Kristi Mercer (Larry) and Natasha Herrick (Chris); his parents-in-law, Blair, Kelley Weatherby, Ted Ward and Judy Elson; his siblings-in-law, Dustin Philippon (Melissa), Katie and Danielle Ward; his nieces and nephews, Cody (Jessica), Kyle, Larrissa, Brecken, Harper, Blake, Cheyenne and Gemma-Fae; his great-nieces, Ariya and Casey; and his great-nephew Ryder. He is also survived by special friends, cousins, aunts, uncles and chosen family members.

Donations in Matthew's Memory can be made to Brain Tumour Foundation of Canada.
