He was loved and cherished by many people including : his children, Richard, Jennifer and Debbie; his grandchildren, Abagail, Scarlett, Violet and Indigo; his mother Muriel; his sisters, Bertha, Eleanor (Robert) and Margaret; his father Tom Eagle; and his brother Raymond Eagle.

A funeral Mass was held on Tuesday, April 23rd 2024 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the Saint Patrick's Co-Cathedral - Yellowknife (5206 52 St, Yellowknife, NT X1A1T9).
