He is survived by: his wife Florence Amelia Bowen (Nee Cortese); his children, Wendy Nellis (Ralph), Paul and Ralph (Lindsey Sperzel); his daughters-in-law, Leona and Kim; his grandchildren, Mark (Susan), Laura, Krystina, Tyler, Michael, Curtis, Meighan (Eric), Melissa (Ryan), Ryan, Joshua (Amy), Nathan (Amy), Caitlin (Jeff), Matthew (Michal), Alex and Gordon (Maggie); his great grandchildren, Emily, Ella, Bentley, Mason, Avery, William, Wayne, Hudson, Oliver, Walter, Mia, Luca, Leo, Lennon, Makella, Maxwell, Abagail, Brody, Jude, Millie, Stanley, Violet, Korbin, Camille and Miles; his sibling Allin Bowen (Linda); and his close friend George Zuccala.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the MacKinnon Family Funeral Home (55 Mill St E, Acton, ON L7J1H4). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 1:00 PM to 1:30 PM at the same location. A reception will be held on Thursday, October 1st 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 197 (15 Wright Ave, Acton, ON L7J2T7).
