He was predeceased by: his parents, Walter Loomis and Emily Loomis; his parents-in-law, John and Theresa Glavin; and his brothers-in-law, Leo Glavin, Bill Glavin and Larry Wismer.
He is survived by: his wife Eileen Loomis (Glavin); his children, Tammy Kelly (Bill), Jennifer Turnbull (Jeff), Sandra Weigand (Chris), Michelle Bronsard (Rob), Donna Carreiro (Mike) and Wesley Loomis (Nicole); his grandchildren, Jessica, Ashley, McKenna, Kaitlyn, Hailey, Justin (Jazlyn), Emma, Morgan, Amanda, Mathew, Christina, Walter and Clifford; his great grandchild Ellie; his siblings, Marg Robinson (Robert) and Pat Nethercott (Bob); and his siblings-in-law, Joan Wismer, Ken Glavin (Mary), Don Glavin (Sonia) and Dan Glavin (Sue). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, May 11th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM and on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Denning Funeral Homes - Ailsa Craig (171 Ailsa Craig Main St, Ailsa Craig, ON N0M 1A0). A funeral service will be held on Monday, May 12th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In memory of Gary, donations may be made to the Strathroy Hospice.
