He was predeceased by: his children, Wayne and Lori; his parents, Leslie Shaddock and Ruth Shaddock; his siblings, Earl (Nellie Shaddock), Alma (Charlie Thompson), Eric Scott, Sadie (Ron Luther), Alberta (Ralph Steeper) and Norman (Shirley Shaddock); and his son-in-law Alvin McGuire.

He is survived by: his wife Catherine (Hughes); his children, Cindy and Jeff Kennedy; his grandchildren, Tara Jackson, Chad Shaddock (Justine), Greg MacGuire (Amy-Lou), Katie Makins (Sean), Tabatha McNicol (Alvin), Shawn Kennedy (Jessica) and Samantha Wood (Thomas); his siblings, Eileen Scott and Dick; and his sister-in-law Barbara Parkinson. He is also survived by great grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.
