He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Oscar Castanheiro and Cyriaca Castanheiro; his wife Donna; his children, Mauriceo (Shana), Cyriaca (Leif) and Nicholas (Yara); his grandchildren, Rhys, Tristan, Chloe, Kaidyn and Teagan; and his siblings, Joseph (Anne), Margaret, Gerard (Elsie), Bernard (Yvonne), Andrew (Mitzie) and Rosalind (Mark). He was also cherished by his numerous nieces, nephews, extended family, and other friends.
In lieu of flowers memorial donation may be made to St. Michael's Hospital Foundation.
