He was predeceased by: his son Bernard; and his parents, Norman and Isabel. He is survived by: his wife Marie Hélène Blakeley; his children, Lynne (Colin) and David (Angela); his daughter-in-law Barb; his grandchildren, Michelle (Daniel), Krista (Aaron), Matthew (Natalie), Nadine (Martin), Lauren (David "DJ"), Amy (Tyler), Brianna (Christian), Stuart, Riley, Christopher (Victoria) and Hayden; his great grandchildren, Lucas, Clark, Jack, Bennett, Emma, Olivia and Izabela; and his siblings, Susan (Rick), Robert (Susan "Sue"), Norman "Norm" (Lena) and Sharon (Ed).
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 20th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM and from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T2Z7). A funeral Mass was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bernadette's Roman Catholic Church (21 Bayly St E, Ajax, ON L1S1P2). A burial was held on Thursday, May 21st 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:00 PM at the Resurrection Catholic Cemetery (355 Taunton Rd E, Whitby, ON L1R3L4).
