“I had the wonderful experience of meeting Joan while working at Brock Libraries. We would share the love of books and suggest wonderful ones to each other. We became fast friends and shared our own stories with each other. One day we went out to lunch in Lindsay and I told her to stop so I could take a picture of her beside her baby. My first ride in her car. I wanted her to see how beautiful she was inside and out! I still have a book Joan gave me and I will cherish it always.”
