Bertram Esmond Newell Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertram Esmond Newell (Ajax, Ontario), born in Ahmic Harbour, Ontario, who passed away on August 24, 2019, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his wife Josephine; his children, Janie (late Tom) and Michael; his parents, John Henry and Anne Elizabeth; and his siblings, Doug, Miriam, Lloyd, Dwight and Arthur (Tom).

He is survived by: his children, Cathie (Les), Anne (Larry) and John (Adelaide); his grandchildren, Carrie, Bradley, Michael, Christopher, Nicholas, Thomas, Jack, Ben, Robert and David; his great grandchildren, Gabriel, Catherine, Teresa, Mason and Summer; and his sisters, Waity and Fay.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Canadian Humane Society, or The Salvation Army.
