He was predeceased by: his parents, Ruth Cummings and Vic Cummings; and his son Edward Roche. He is survived by: his wife Betty Cummings; his child Kelly Cummings Avoledo (Steve); his grandchildren, Sierra, Matthew, Luke and Dawn Sherman (Mark); his great grandchild Connor; his grandson Steve Roche (Sue); his great grandchildren, Kyle and Shasta; his grandson Michael Seymour (Michelle); his great grandchildren, Grace and Jack; and his sister Brenda Cummings Winters.

Visitation was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T2Z7). A funeral service was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home Chapel (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T2Z7). A burial was held on Saturday, May 9th 2026 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens (1757 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T4R3).
