He was predeceased by: his wife Rosemary Anne Potter. He is survived by: his children, David Potter (Cindy), Deborah Poole and Jeffery Potter (Cindy); his grandchildren, Jeffrey Potter, Johnathon Potter, Brandon Poole (Ciara), Cameron Poole, William Potter, Jason Potter and Brady Potter; and his great grandchildren, Liam, Nora Potter, Beckett, Addison Poole, Maiah Beach and Zayne Potter.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in his honour to the Alzheimer's Association or the Kidney Foundation.
