Lindsay Stephen wrote a sympathy message

“We are devastated by the news of Chris’s passing. Chris coached our son’s hockey team last year (Pickering/Ajax U7 Timbits, Team Blue). He was so passionate about the game and teaching the boys. They had so much fun playing during the Oshawa generals game. A memory we will cherish forever and how he made such an impact on our son’s first year of hockey. Chris will be greatly missed. Love, The Stephen Family.”
