She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Wilfrid and Philomène; her husband Edward Matte; her sons, Jean-Pierre and Michel Matte; her daughters-in-law, Patricia Schmidt and Sarah Haley Matte; her grandchildren, Amélie Matte Zakaib, Alexander Matte and Paul Matte; and her siblings, Clémence Pelletier, Colette Brosseau, Jean-Pilippe, Vianney, Jean-Marie, Madelaine, Alvarez, Joseph, Bertrand, Hélène and Françoise.
