The memory of Claude Phillips (Ajax, Ontario), who passed away on June 14, 2025 at the age of 93, will forever remain in the hearts of those touched by this precious presence in their lives. As we bid Claude farewell, let us not mourn the absence of his physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of his spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Claude is not truly gone, but merely transformed, his energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
He was predeceased by: his brothers, Fred and Alec Phillips; and his brother-in-law Pat Savory. He is survived by: his wife Yvonne Mahanger; his children, Donna Edwards (Gordon Bathurst) and Brian Phillips (Ed Scherer); his grandchildren, Tessa (Nick Minshall) and Conlan Edwards; his sister Sheila Savory; his niece Diane Hallquist; and his nephew Wayne Savory. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, and friends.
