He was predeceased by: his parents, Rittanella Stoddart and Jeremiah Simms; and his grandchild Raina Simms. He is survived by: his wife Cynthia Louise Simms; his sons, Brian Simms and Junior Simms; and his grandchildren, Danielle Simms, Jeremiah Simms, Noah Simms and Micah Simms.
Visitation will be held on Friday, July 18th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:30 PM at the Refuge City Pentecostal Church (10 Fuller Rd, Ajax, ON L1S3R2). A burial will be held on Saturday, July 19th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Pine Ridge Memorial Gardens (1757 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T4R3).
