He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Powers and Veronica Powers; and his brother Brian Powers. He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Powers (Mary), Pat Powers (Margaret), Terry Powers (Kathleen), Maureen Lawrence, Catherine Jones (Don), Paul Powers (Kim), Rosemary Harris (Terry), Carol Ann Burley and Kevin Powers; and his close friend Sharon Goff-McCue.

Visitation was held on Thursday, January 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the McEachnie Funeral Home (28 Old Kingston Rd, Ajax, ON L1T2Z7).
