He was predeceased by: his former wife Shirley Bernice Heggie; and his stepson Larry Heggie (Kerry). He is survived by: his spouse Bibi Shimoon Heggie; his children, Kimberley Ann Flechtman and Michael William Heggie (Robin); and his stepchildren, Joan Hudson (Eric), Robert Heggie (Vicky) and Gloria Langlois (Tom).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Andrew's Presbyterian Church (35 Church St N, Ajax, ON L1T2W4). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 12:30 PM at the Erskine Cemetery (1999 Fairport Rd, Pickering, ON L1V2M2). A reception was held on Saturday, November 22nd 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Church Hall.
